Our Fees
Fees are charged in accordance with our price list below and are fully inclusive of all meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the day. Unlike many nurseries, there are no additional charges for music, physical education, sport, specialist external teachers, or the special events we organise throughout the year.
Invoices are issued on the first working day of each month and are payable by the 10th. Fees are annualised and spread evenly across monthly payments to ensure consistency throughout the year, regardless of the number of weeks in each month. We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque, Nursery Vouchers from all major providers, and the Government Tax-Free Childcare scheme. Employer-supported arrangements are also welcomed.
A 10% sibling discount is available for families with more than one child attending the nursery, excluding funded hours. Holiday absences are charged at 50% of normal fees, subject to a minimum of one month’s notice and capped at a maximum of six weeks per year.
All places are confirmed upon receipt of a completed registration form and £100 registration fee. Special dietary requirements can also be accommodated by arrangement.
NB: Fees are annualised and calculated over the 51 weeks we are open. Monthly fees can be calculated by taking the weekly fee, multiplying by 51 and dividing the result by 12.
Funding
At Cressex Day Nursery, we support families in accessing funded childcare. We offer the 15 hours free entitlement for eligible two-year-olds and all children from the term after their third birthday. This “universal entitlement” is provided as a stretched offer across 51 weeks of the year, equating to 11.18 hours per week, taken over a minimum of two half-day sessions (subject to availability).
We also offer the 30 hours “extended entitlement” for eligible working parents. This is delivered as a stretched offer across 51 weeks (22.35 hours per week) and is available for children attending three full days or more. Any additional hours are charged at our standard rate.
